BLACK GIRLS ROCK!

BLACK GIRLS ROCK!

This sweet and savoury message goes out to all my black Afro-Queens across the globe, as we take the time this month, to celebrate our black with grace and style. Therefore, to all you black women all around the world, take off your wigs, put your braids on and let your afro-kink stand out because today, you are about to be honoured.  Enough with the self-hate or the negative self-talk, this here is your moment to elevate, level up and be who are meant to be. So, put down your weapons, leave the drama behind, burn the entire virulent bridge, put your lighters up and let us go! Take a pretty sit and listen to these words of wisdom, from your fellow African siren, as I channel a message for you from the ethers intended to cloth you with heavenly wisdom, and allow you to take on centre stage, as I take this golden opportunity to extol your brazen beauty, for it is God-given to you and for you, for power, strength, and divine purpose.

Black queens, you have come along way, from struggle love, to colourism, further down to suppressing your worth, and all because you have been taught all your lives by society that your black was your weakness. This mentality was passed down to you at a tender age and has had a negative impact on your self worth, thereby forming in you a dangerous mindset of believing that you are always meant to be on the ugly-bottom side of life. Yet I make known to you this day my black beauties that just because you are a woman of colour, does not mean you are beneath the beauty standard. On the contrary, it is because you are of colour, that you defy the standard of beauty, by standing out always from the crowd. Indeed, our different shades of black make a hue of golden ebonies.

Divine ravens, your black is your beauty. If you do not believe it, then take a long look in the mirror and see yourself for who you are, a true reflection of your ancestry. Your forefathers gave you this russet heritage, so that you may carry it with pride and in order that you pass it on to your descendants. Your melanated skin is your power. This gift gives an allure of just how beautiful you truly are. Your myriad of colour shades is a constant reminder of God’s masterpiece, moulding you from the dust and infusing the earth colours into you, pouring His passion and creativity within you, as a show of His ever-present benevolence upon your lives.

Most beloved sisters, the kink in your hair is your freedom, enabling you to twist, turn, curl, gel, braid, lock, and weave it to your desired style. Your wool is your cool, giving you the liberty to rock it however, whenever. My ebony beauties, live and learn to rock your hair as your Maker intended, natural and afrolicious. Others may disagree and look down upon your nappy curls, yet your Creator frizzed it up, especially for you, to give you a signature look of an African goddess.

Afro-queens your bulbous nose is your pride, strong and wide enough to take in as much air as you possibly can. Therefore, let nobody make you feel burdened, to nip and tuck your nuzzle, for you will loose the gift of pride, that your forefathers passed down to you. Moreover, you will botch the symmetry of your amazing facial structure, trying to keep up with Becky and Karen, knowing very well that they do not match up to your genetic build. Soul divas, your lips and eyes, your hips and thighs, and everything else is designed for your strength and purpose. Therefore, there is no need to stress how much of fine girl chicks you are. Even the blind can see that God has immensely favoured you. However, I will speak more about your mind, voice, heart and soul, in connection to your future, purpose, and destiny.

Blessed angels, your God gifted you with strong and wise minds, to be able to face any of life’s challenge with ease. That is why, you are the most burdened of God’s children on this earth, yet the most intelligent and courageous of them all. Since the time of your fore-mothers, this burden-bearer mentality was passed down to you, and you have not missed a step or slacked a day in your life. You have been holding it down for years, as life kept throwing you many obstacles your way, yet you beat all odds to stand strong amidst the storms of life. I am proud of you all my pretty beings. It is the Lord’s doing and He wants you to know that you are not alone, and you have never been alone in this journey of life. He has always been with you and He will always and forever be your ride or die, to the very end, no matter the circumstances of life, as long as you learn to depend upon Him, He will be the only one you will ever need, to be victorious in this lifetime.

Glorious ones, your voices have powerfully aligned, to express your truth. For decades, your were suppressed, oppressed, and depressed, yet you have finally gotten the courage to stand tall and speak into existence of life you want, and about the future you envision, without fear or failure. It may not be easy my dear sisters but your God is imparting you with divine strength, courage and wisdom, to speak this truth, and pass it down to generations after you. This is your legacy.

Finally my lovely divines, your hearts and souls are where God’s purposes are buried within, guiding you to your destinies. Forget where society has positioned you, in the morbid pit of toxic love, single-parenting, lack and poverty, illicit sex and drug abuse, depression and suicide. Instead, your God has great plans for your lives, to give you the blue print designed to uplift you toward your wish fulfilment.

Ladies, there is no limit to what you are able to do. If you can perceive your dream then you can achieve it. Let nobody put you down or tell you that you do not matter, because you do. Go ahead and dismiss all the heretics from your life, dust your shoulders off and keep living the life that is meant for you, and always remember to say it loud, that you are black, you are proud and you rock!
